Tooch

Apparently this is a place in Scotland pronounced "tooch." 

In English it's simply pronounced tough. 

Wouldn't it be great if we came to a crossroads and had the ability to choose if we'd follow the tough path or take easy street?

Obviously we don't have the choice, but we do have the ability to choose.

So as hard as it is somedays, I figure I'm already heading toward tough, so I might as well look for the good along the way. It wouldn't hurt anything to enjoy myself a little bit, but most of all, it would be great if I could be a joy to others.

Maybe then the south side of the tracks would look a little more like the north, and they could get together more often.

What a great photo - and observation. It certainly reminds me of Robert Frost.

At least in my own life, I wouldn't CHOOSE the tough road, yet those roads have proven to be the places that most often lead me to the heart of God. Maybe that's why in real life, we don't those roads are marked as clearly.
