What a great photo - and observation. It certainly reminds me of Robert Frost.

At least in my own life, I wouldn't CHOOSE the tough road, yet those roads have proven to be the places that most often lead me to the heart of God. Maybe that's why in real life, we don't those roads are marked as clearly.

It also reminds me of the latest song by FFH, "To Be Led." If you haven't heard it, check it out on their site: fff dot net.

Thankful for the High Calling Blogs connection.

Audra,
You most definitely are a joy to others (to me). Never doubt that....

Hi Cheryl,

Thank you for coming over from HCB. It was very nice of you to stop by and comment. As a worship leader, I truly appreciate the FFH recommendation, I do not know that song, but will look forward to checking it out tomorrow!  Thanks again and have a great rest of the week!

Thanks Lance! Very kind of you to say. I hope you are having a great week.

I like the "...be a joy to others" part. It's far too easy to get self-consumed on the tough road, and forget there are others right next to us on the same road.

Hi Michele, Yes it is easy to get tunnel vision on the tough road.
